The Type L Matte Focusing Screen is an interchangeable focusing screen, the same as the type A screen, but with a split-image rangefinder at a 45° angle.

It has a matte/Fresnel field, AF brackets, a diagonal split-image rangefinder and 12mm center weighted circle.
